Callum and the team did a great job installing the new cornice in the bedroom of my Edwardian house. They were really easy to deal with from obtaining a quote to arranging a date for the works to be done, and worked around my requirements of an extensive refurbishment. The work on the day was completed with the upmost skill and care, and the quality of finish is exceptional. I’m a chartered building surveyor, so have high standards and Callum and the team didn’t disappoint… so much so they are back next week to install new Cornice in my hallway and landing. Highly recommended!
I recently hired Callum at CM Cornice to fit new cornice as part of a bedroom renovation project, and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of the work. I'd originally posted a job for plastering and cornice, and although plastering isn't a service offered, Callum helped find a plasterer and was back out soon after to fit the cornice. Very helpful. Consultation via WhatsApp and it made things very easy. Callum offered up different profiles to match my budget and we negotiated on the dimensions of the room and the cost of materials. Overall very happy!
Callum and George came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. They installed coving throughout my entire London flat and their workmanship and attention to detail is excellent! Callum was patient and worked around my availability - even when my renovation timetable started to slip. He was responsive, flexible, punctual and professional throughout. It’s quite difficult to find reliable and honest tradespeople, but I can say with all confidence that these guys are one of the best.
We asked Callum to install plaster moulding in our front room after seeing the results of his work at a friend’s house. We swapped out a plain modern style coving for something more traditional and in keeping with our house. Callum was very professional, his communication clear and prompt, and he worked with us to find a date to do the work. Bearing in mind how messy this work can be he was very considerate of our house and cleaned everything away. For a one day job that was very reasonably priced and has made such a difference to our front room, I cannot recommend him enough.

Excellent service. Callum undertook a detailed estimate. Started on the day stated. Spent 2 hours prepping all the floors taping all the gaps. Job took 4 solid days every evening he and his colleague cleaned up after them. They left the site on the date on the estimate.

Callum fitted a rather ‘fiddly’ seven piece rose, and made it look great. Six ‘petals’ and a ‘flower centre’. He was very efficient and conscientious. Callum has a confident, very friendly and relaxed demeanour, which makes working with him a pleasure. The finished rose looks so great so we are planning to get him back asap, to complete other rooms with roses and cornicing
Callum did fantastic work on a big project in Surrey. He advised on appropriate cornice and ceiling rose for an 1870s house and narrowed down the overwhelming choice of cornice to a more manageable list. He matched some non-standard cornice for some rooms, replaced old cornice that had fallen down, and installed new cornice in an extension. The work is beautiful and makes the rooms and corridors much so more elegant. Callum moved his schedule around at short notice and worked all hours to accommodate our supplier installing our kitchen a week earlier than previously agreed. Highly recommended!
Callum was fantastic. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and really makes the effort to help you select the right look. He’s absolutely professional to the highest degree and does everything he says he will to a level exceeding all expectations. It’s very rare to find this in a tradesman. Also, he’s just a great person and a pleasure to deal with.
